It's been a while...

Wow. I forgot that I had this blog. Looks like my last post was in April of 2003. A lot has happened since then, but here's what I'd count as the top three most memorable events of 2003:

1. My second child was born. With two boys, myself, and a [mostly] male cat in the house, my wife is now officially outnumbered.
2. I was reunited with a dear friend that I hadn't seen since college.
3. My dad retired from a long career as a teacher. If you can read this and were schooled in Florida, you may well have him to thank.

As for this year, it ain't over yet, so I'll just mention one major event: I'm with a new company. The company I was previously with was purchased lock, stock, and barrel by a huge US-based company. In the interest of not offending any management at this company, I better not use the real name - I'll use a pseudonym, instead. The company that I'm employed by will hereafter be known as "Electric General".
