Monster truck

On the way home today, I was passed by a 7300 CXT (link). Have you ever seen one of these things? It's ridiculously large - 9 feet high, and it weighs as much as two Hummers. The driver of this thing was just oblivious to the traffic, not paying attention to the lanes, and was yapping on his cell phone. Idiot. I swung out of the way and slowed down so this peabrain could pass me - I didn't want to get run over (the front bumper is at windshield level).

The "CXT" stands for "Commercial Extreme Truck", and is produced to appeal to sports figures, Hollywood types, and [very rich] rednecks. At $90,000 for the base model (not to mention less than 10 miles per gallon), you've got to be rich to get one. Not to mention stupid.

Why the dimwits at International unleashed this thing is beyond me. Regular SUVs are dangerous enough when driven by unskilled chowderheads yammering into their cell phones - this thing is an order of magnitude worse.

7300 CXT.... Why didn't they just call it the "Compensator"?
