Cinco de Mayo

Besides recalling the victory of General Ignacio Zaragoza over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5th of 1862, Cinco de Mayo is also the biggest day of officially sanctioned public drunkenness this side of St. Patrick's Day. I guess I must have mixed the two, since Happy Hour found me at Fibber Magees in Chandler. Yes, an Irish bar on Cinco de Mayo. Guess I wasn't thinking when I picked out that place for a farewell drink for a co-worker.
