Out of Work

Now that the Michael Jackson trial is over, you wanna bet there's about 100 "legal analysts" looking for work? I suppose they can collect their unemployment benefits until the next legal circus takes place.

We've had our share of circuses here in Arizona. A memorable one was the "Sleepwalking Murder". Scott Falater stabbed his wife 44 times, pushed her in their backyard pool, then held her head underwater until she drowned. The defense didn't contest this, since there was enough physical evidence for even the O.J. jury to deliver a conviction, and there was a witness to the killing.

The excuse? He was sleepwalking. Nobody believed him. He's in prison now.

On a side note, Scott Falater used to work at the same Motorola plant I did (I used to work for Motorola until Chris Galvin flushed it down the toilette). I never saw a name disappear so fast out of the company phone book...
