Arlington

I visited Arlington National Cemetery today with my parents and sister (they're here visiting). As we were walking along one of the roads inside the cemetery, a car stopped and told us that a funeral procession was coming by, and that we shouldn't take any photos. We stood off to the side, removed our hats and placed our hands over our hearts as the procession passed by. It was a small band (all in Naval uniforms), followed by a single officer (a Captain). Behind that was a horse-drawn caisson bearing a flag-draped coffin. This was followed by around twenty cars. Very moving - I've never seen anything like it before.
